About the Opportunity Whether you are an experienced or early career Speech Pathologist looking for a new full-time/part-time position, or a new graduate, BUSHkids offers a meaningful opportunity to make a difference in children's early years through our regional services. You may be working with children up to 13 years age with mild to moderate developmental delays, disabilities, or at risk of educational, emotional or social challenges. Early intervention is goal oriented and delivered in short-term therapy blocks either through our Allied Health or NDIS service streams, taking a holistic family centred approach guided by our BUSHkids model of care. Therapy sessions are either provided face-to-face or via telepractice within our multidisciplinary and transdisciplinary teams. Currently we are seeking passionate Speech Pathologists to join our teams across Sunshine Coast (Maroochydore or Caloundra), Emerald, Gladstone, Bundaberg, Hervey Bay, Rockhampton, Mt Isa, Warwick and Dalby. 2026 Brighter Futures Graduate Program For graduating clinicians, our two-year ‘Brighter Futures’ Graduate Program provides a structured and supported pathway into practice including: Weekly 1:1 supervision Work shadowing and near peer buddy mentoring Monthly competency based learning modules Group supervision and discipline specific meetings Gradual and realistic caseload building your confidence to practice Opportunities to engage in intake processes, clinical research, presentations, and outreach programs. This could include travelling to other regional locations or engaging with First Nations communities aligned with your interests Qualifications Tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology along with eligibility/current registration to SPA Key Capabilities & Attributes Alignment with our BUSHkids core values – Child-Focused and Family Centred, Collaborative and Accountable with a genuine passion for supporting children in their early years and their families Knowledge and experience in family-centred practice, either working with children with developmental delays or disabilities, with a focus on early intervention Applies effective clinical reasoning and makes evidence-based decisions that leads to improved client outcomes Possesses strong interpersonal skills and the ability to foster positive working relationships Excellent written communication and report writing skills Willingness to actively participate and collaborate within a multidisciplinary/transdisciplinary team Can adapt to change, incorporating performance feedback, and demonstrates self-awareness in their professional learning journey Capable of working independently while effectively managing time and workload Committed to ongoing personal and professional development with an aptitude to share skills and knowledge with others Additional Requirement Current valid Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or ability to obtain before commencement) Current C Class Drivers' License Evidence of Hepatitis B Vaccination status BUSHkids Benefits An attractive base salary commensurate with experience, plus superannuation and portable leave loading. New Graduates will be offered $90,930 Base Super.
